New AAT Website

Some of the AAT executive met with our website designer recently to discuss changes to our website. Some of the changes we discussed included;

·       The webcam tab linking directly to a map of Tasmania showing camera locations and from which an individual camera can be easily chosen.

·       Improvements to the news section with more timely information published.

·       Work towards a membership model for AAT which may include individual and club members. Our aim is to be more of a ‘funnel’- collecting angler ideas and concerns, transmitting these to decision makers and reflecting information back.

·       Setting out AAT priorities clearly on the website.

·       Setting out current and past projects clearly with updates on these to detail progress.

·       Adding a tab for fish habitat and waterway restoration to show real examples of local fishery recovery from Tasmania and across the world

We envisage that work on the website changes will start shortly . We hope to have the new site ready by the start of the next fishing season.
